The Esseillon barrier:
The historical fortress and information
center at la Redoute
Marie Therese invites you to discover the
remarkable history of the Esseillon barrier. Through
a museographic course of exhibition rooms and general
purpose spaces, you will discover a real Sardinian
military city settled at an altitude of 1 500m.
The Redoute is accessible by the RD 1006 and also
provides you with an information spot made complete
with a shop and small snack bar.
Every Friday departure organized
by bus at 2pm at the entrance of the resort on the
parking lot.
A guide welcomes you for a visit to the forts and
its underground accompanied by a drink. 10 €(information at Maison de La Norma) In February,

As each winter, Greg, high mountain
guide, offers you to come and share his passion by discovering
all these activities in a secure environment.
Ski
or snowboard escape
off pist of La from the discovery of the La Norma off-pists
to large wild raids in the Maurienne valley (from 35
€ per person). Ski touring: 51€
Climb up summits with skis on feet from the top of the
ski lifts for a shorter wy up (initiation), or more
traditionally by putting your skis directly form the
bottom (from 61€/pers). Frozen waterfall climbing:
As initiation for children to adults, near by La Norma
village or for warned climbers on frozen waterfalls
composed of several lengths (from 43 €/ pers). Via ferrata:
on sunny pathways for everyone (from 35 €/pers).
For groups, activities on request (tariff for day commitment
: 270 €)
Aquazen boats a complex of 600m².
Various activities are available: Sauna, whirlpool bath,
hamman, massages, squash, and gym.
Theres enough for everyone to do. Only 5km away
with the possibility of transport.
The club trains the local children
during winter in order to prepare them for competitions
where they aspire to become tomorrows champions.
The club
has the responsibility of organising local and international races and competitions.
They can, however, organise friendly races for you and your friends.

mountain's face offers you other leisures, such as
long outings with snowshoes, dog-sleigh rides, exhibitions,
slideshows,
local gastronomy, discovery of the natural environment
and Savoyard heritage. So many activities await you.
Sledging area: Welcome
to all those who like sledging ! A secure area reserved
for sledging has been reserved for them. Open the
whole day and free of charge.
Dog

For a feeling of adventure.
Available to anyone in groups of two. One hour's ride in a sledge pulled by a
team of huskies.
