Teaching and different classes (ski) in the French ski-school of La Norma*

Adults
	What i can already do	What can i learn ?
Beginners’class	I’ve never skied / or / I can, more or less, keep my balance while sliding, and stop.	Different steps to go up the hill. Balancing, stopping, using the lifts, turning and controlling the speed on easy slopes (green).
(class 1)	I can turn and control my speed on easy slopes (green).	The Elementary turn : initiating the turn in snowplough and ending it with the skis parallel. This technique allows you to go skiing on intermediate slopes (blue).
(class 2)	I can ski and control my speed on intermediate slopes (blue).	The basic parallel turn: turning with the skis parallel. The side-slipping. Skiing on intermediate to hard slopes (blue to red ones). How to use better my equipment (parabolic skis).
(class 3)	I can already turn with the skis parallel on intermediate to hard slopes (blue and red). I can easily make turning steps.	The refined parallel turn : refining the parallel turns (smalls and wides), The vertical work, the rythm, the drivings. How to control the parabolic skis. Learning how to stop quickly and efficiently. Skiing on different kinds of snows and grounds (hard to very hard ones / reds, blacks, first notions about off-piste).
(class 4)	I can easily ski on red and black slopes; making small or wide turns.	Adapting my technique to the different kinds of slopes, to the snow quality, and also to others skiers. Having and trying to pass the many tests from the ski-school: the chamois, the arrow, ect…
